Page 12 Sketching stationary objects in ink The advantage of sketching objects that don't move such as statues and trees is that you can spend more time drawing details. With pen and ink you can concentrate on careful hatching. If you run out of time (I did these on my lunch break) you can go back and finish another time. Statues are great substitutes for the real thing. The model never moves and never complains. Here are sketches of two statues and a tree found in the Kudanshita area. |
